Tabletop Game
While I've made a physical board of this project, this was the first time getting it started in 3D.
First changes began to take shape. This was the first playable stage.
Major board revisions from feedback and testing. The game currently sits here, with many new ideas and changes on the horizon.
While I've made a physical board of this project, this was the first time getting it started in 3D.
I've been developing a board game in my spare time, tentatively named Widari: Extraction
This is a "race to the finish" style game, where each player starts with a few actions, and rolls the dice to perform an extra special action. Actions are spent by drawing tiles from a bag, placing tiles and moving your pawn.
The player must build a path with their tiles to reach the center, defeat the boss and return home to win. But your opponents will have many tools to slow you down should you take the lead.
The game can be played with 2-6 players, and can even be divided into 2-3 teams.
The photos above each show a milestone in iteration and testing periods. Each mechanic is carefully inspected and weighed against the rest to stress capabilities. Currently in early alpha testing, I have many planned changes and updates on the horizon.
If you'd like to participate in testing, send me a DM on twitter.
